Big Sky, MT

Nestled within the Madison Range of southwest Montana, surrounded by thousands of acres of protected forest and backcountry wilderness, towering mountain peaks, and the scenic Gallatin River, it’s the ideal vacation spot for skiers and outdoor thrill-seekers.
Known for its massive acreage (with one of the largest ski areas in North America), long groomers, and a heart-pounding 4,350-foot vertical drop, Big Sky’s demanding terrain attracts expert skiers and snowboarders every winter. But the resort also offers incredible experiences for those new to skiing, with a top-notch ski school, plenty of wide blue runs, gentle slopes, and easily accessible bowl terrain.
