Discover Coastal Charleston

As an Equity Estates investor, there’s no need to comb Charleston vacation rental listings for that perfect property. The Equity Estates Team has done the legwork for you, adding this splendid barrier island home to the Equity Estates property portfolio.

The Coastal Carolina property is a four-bedroom, 4,400-square-foot luxury residence with private beach access and a private, heated pool. You’ll enjoy magnificent ocean views and relaxing afternoons in the shade on the wraparound porch, or explore the property’s outdoor living spaces and onsite private pond (keep an eye out for otters).

You have direct boardwalk access to North Beach, a stunning spot to take in a Low Country sunrise. (For enchanting sunsets, head over to nearby Pelican Beach.)

The property is on Seabrook Island, an idyllic beachfront community about 40-minutes’ drive from Charleston.

A spacious interior, well-equipped chef’s kitchen, and the proximity of the beach make this home ideal for large groups and families who enjoy the privacy and exclusivity of barrier island life.

Five Perfect Days in Coastal Charleston

For a perfect weekend, take a look at the itinerary recommended by our local Residence Manager, providing detailed guidance for three perfect days in Coastal Charleston. If you’re thinking about a longer stay, this five-day guide gives you a sense of the activities you might pursue during your visit.

Day 1: Beach time

Take your first day to relax on Seabrook Island. Start the day with sunrise on North Beach, just steps away from your Coastal Carolina residence. Head over to the Seabrook Island Club for oceanfront pools, a selection of restaurants, golf and racquet sports options, and landscaped sunbathing decks. As the day fades, catch a stunning sunset at Pelican Beach.

Day 2: Downtown Charleston

Get acquainted with historic Charleston on your second day. Start the day with breakfast at Welton’s Tiny Bake Shop, named a finalist in the Outstanding Bakery category of the 2026 James Beard Awards. A guided walking tour or carriage ride will give you an excellent introduction to the charms of downtown Charleston — ask your Equity Estates Vacation Concierge for recommendations.

Stop by Charleston City Market for lunch and souvenir shopping. And round out the day with a stroll along Rainbow Row, Charleston’s famously photogenic row of brightly-colored historic houses. Finish up in scenic Waterfront Park with a visit to the city’s best-known landmark, the Pineapple Fountain.

Finally, savor the Charleston food scene with soul food from Dave’s Carry-Out or modern takes on Old World classics (like Beef Wellington or Duck Ballotine) at Merci.

Day 3: Johns Island and Wadmalaw Island

Between Seabrook Island and Charleston, Johns Island is home to one of America’s most extraordinary natural landmarks, Angel Oak. This behemoth is 66.5 feet tall with a 28-foot circumference. It’s gnarled, twisting branches shade around 17,200 square feet of ground. Its longest branch is measured at 187 feet. Believed to be between 300 and 500 years old, the Angel Oak is a majestic sight for Coastal Carolina visitors and residents alike.

After seeing Angel Oak, make time to visit the Charleston Tea Garden, America’s oldest tea garden, on neighboring Wadmalaw Island. Stop by Cherry Point Seafood Company for freshly-fished seafood, and gather additional supplies for a Low Country boil from Freshfields Village on the way home.

Day 4: Sail away

Coastal Carolina offers a number of ways to enjoy the sea. For history buffs, a tour of Fort Sumter comes with the bonus of a scenic cruise across the harbor from downtown Charleston. Pair that journey with an excursion to see Morris Island Lighthouse, which involves a flat-bottomed boat skimming through the saltwater creeks that crisscross the barrier islands. If you prefer to do it yourself, there are several kayak and paddle board tours and rental options for exploring the local waterways.

For a more romantic experience, book a sunset cruise for spectacular golden-hour views of the Charleston skyline.

Day 5: Play the Ocean Course

Charleston is surrounded by quality golf courses, from the famous Wild Dunes courses in Isle of Palms to the Jack Nicklaus-designed Turtle Point on Kiawah Island. But the jewel in a glittering crown of premier golf courses is Kiawah Island’s Ocean Course

Routinely named among the best courses in the world, the Ocean Course is also often described as the hardest course in America. Its signature feature is its elevation along the shoreline, providing exceptional Atlantic Ocean views. Those views also mean large parts of the course are exposed to the wind whipping off the sea, creating notoriously difficult playing conditions. For golfers, however, it’s an unforgettable challenge.

Equity Estates Fund Offers a Smarter Way to Experience Charleston

Equity Estates Fund investors go beyond standard vacation home rentals in Charleston, SC. They enjoy the benefits of a model intentionally built for travelers who enjoy luxury vacations but want the familiarity of home and long-term value of ownership.

This is achieved in part through the Equity Estates Signature, a standard that applies across the entire portfolio of Equity Estates Fund properties. The Signature standard includes luxury vacation homes selected for features such as living and dining spaces large enough to accommodate everyone staying at the property (to facilitate group and multigenerational travel), chef’s kitchens, and bedrooms optimized for comfort.

Additionally, every home is decorated with a sense of place, using materials and themes that connect to the property’s location.

Equity Estates investors are further supported by a dedicated Vacation Concierge Team to assist with scheduling and coordinating reservations, activities, and logistics. Our Home Asset Management Team oversees maintenance, improvements, and daily housekeeping to ensure the property’s value is protected. Local hosts ensure that your vacation home is stocked with up to 85 consumable items before you arrive, and that there are beach towels and chairs, games, sunscreen and any other necessary items for your stay.

The Signature ensures that investors can be confident their experience will be at the same high standard in any Equity Estates property, from Colorado to the Caribbean and the Carolinas.

In some locations, investors can choose from multiple properties, which provides an opportunity for a slightly different experience on a repeat visit. For example, in the Low Country, our Coastal Carolina property is complemented by a six-bedroom Isle of Palms vacation home, just 30 minutes from downtown Charleston.
