Dave and Barb Singer are seasoned travelers and worldly excursionists who love making memories together on adventures around the globe. They’ve been Equity Estates investors since 2017 and haven’t wasted any time getting to know the residence portfolio with 165 nights completed and five future trips scheduled.
After an accomplished career leading one of the country’s largest snack food companies, Dave retired from his executive post, and he now enjoys vacationing with his wife Barb, their close network of travel companions, and two sons (along with their growing families).
Dave and Barb have always splurged on milestone vacations, knowing time away as a family is a priceless commodity when balancing a demanding career and raising children. The coastal South Carolina based investors earmark over a month each year to travel to Equity Estates destinations with those they love.

When asked what makes the Equity Estates homes different from others, Dave and Barb concur it’s the consistently superior quality of the residences, including spacious and private master suites, daily housekeeping, a stocked fridge, and luxurious furnishings and amenities.

As avid beach goers, the Singers travel log is packed with many cherished trips to the white sand beaches of the Dominican Republic, Grand Cayman, both residences in Turks and Caicos, and multiple Florida homes. Dave also looks forward to his annual ski trip (or two) with the guys. “The Equity Estates ski homes in Snowmass and Park City are so convenient to the lifts, restaurants, and shopping. They’re perfect.”

Dave and Barb first learned about Equity Estates when a friend invested, and they valued the flexibility of inviting multiple guests along without additional charges, unlike any other models. More than a Vacation
This adventurous couple not only loves beach and ski getaways but also trekked to Italy for The Five Senses of Tuscany expedition in 2017, and in 2022 checked the bucket list for South African safari with their son and daughter-in-law from Madrid. “We absolutely love the Equity Estates excursions,” said Barb. “Everything is so well put together, and we travel with an amazing group of like-minded people. They far exceeded our expectations.”
When asked how they would describe their investment to peers, Dave said, “I consider this an investment in time together. It’s a great deal and it forces you to stop and take the time to plan meaningful time together in beautiful places.”
